FAQ
Paid plans include a monthly credit pool (Plus 450, Pro 1,800, Max 5,800). Model turns, plugins, and image tools draw from that pool. Unused credits do not roll over.
Free includes the Auto model, local folders, git, indexing, and plugins billed against the Auto usage pool. Named labs and image generation need Plus or higher.
Credit top-ups are coming soon. Until then, move up a plan in billing if you need a larger monthly pool.
On Free, plugin calls use the Auto pool. On paid plans they use credits. Shape does not ship Gmail or other apps built in. You connect them in settings.
The editor, diffs, terminal, and git work on disk without a network. Generating a reply needs a Shape account and a connection.
Windows 10 and later, x64 and ARM64. macOS and Linux are not available yet.
